- The vitamin B complex provides good energy levels, therefore it is important to include eggs, fish, asparagus, spinach and green leafy vegetables to your daily diet

- It is also useful to take specific supplements containing zinc, selenium and magnesium - In general, it is advisable to use products that stimulate and protect the follicles and drain toxins

- Use gentle cleansers and avoid chemical treatments like perms or chemical relaxers. Furthermore, talk with your hairdresser to identify suitably gentle chemical colour if needed and to plan a hair revitalization program to be carried out in the salon and with home-care maintenance treatments with specific products to counteract hair loss

- When cleansing, avoid vigorous massage and too much friction, and avoid combing wet hair with any force
